It goes deep in the characteristics of the Catalan culture
that influenced, of a peculiar way, in the multiple relations with the
American countries. Of equal way, it less investigates and it spreads a
studied slope: impronta American in the Catalan culture that has taken shape
in literature, music, the architecture, the gastronomy... Yet this, wants to favor a americanismo that is a platform
of encounter between these cultures, in the middle of a multicultural society
more and more, multiethnic and interconnected. In order to fulfill its objectives, the Foundation presents/displays
diverse scopes of relation and interchange, in rooms of the old Monastery of
San Jeronimo of the Murtra, Badalona (Spain) Was in this monastery where the
encounter between Kings Catolicos and Cristóbal took place Columbus, before
initiating his second it travels to American earth (April of 1493) In these rooms, denominated Ramon Pané, exhibitions are
organized, to char them, courses, concerts... The Foundation also welcomes
